Our Mission
The Education Alliance of Coastal Virginia (EACOVA) is an independent advocate of higher education in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. We are a not-for-profit organization of colleges, universities and higher education professionals whose purpose is to provide higher education information, resources and services for business, industry and government agencies in our region.
Our member institutions will help your organization customize onsite education fairs, college days, or mini-education series for your employees. Please contact us below for information on how to arrange an event for your organization.

Our Vision
EACOVA member institutions, abiding by standards of cooperative conduct, work together to provide, promote, and plan education activities for corporate development, employee growth, and lifelong learning as a service to businesses and community organizations.

EACOVA seeks to establish an ongoing dialogue between member institutions and leaders in business and government that will foster the understanding of post secondary options for working adults.

By providing cooperative programs, EACOVA helps to minimize the research necessary for prospective students and facilitate the identification of programs that are suited to the student's learning style, goals and scheduling requirements.

Our employees were excited to hear about the Education Fair when it was announced, and they've been quick to tell us that they found the exhibitors helpful and encouraging. In the days since you were here, we've seen an increased number of inquiries into our Education Assistance program from employees wanting to go back to school.
